Empowering People. Elevating Industries. Transforming Egypt.

We are redefining technical and vocational education in Egypt, through the development of a future-ready workforce that powers industries, strengthens economies, and transforms communities.

Our Purpose

NASS Academy was born in 2012 out of the need to upskill Egypt’s workforce to meet the growing needs of different industries in the local market.

What began as an initiative to close the skills gap has evolved into a national movement shaping the future of technical and vocational education in Egypt and beyond.

As a people-first enterprise, NASS Academy partners with individuals, companies, government entities, and international institutions to build a competent, skilled, and competitive workforce.

With a focus on sustainable growth, our model bridges the gap between education and industry. We equip students with practical skills, internationally recognized qualifications, and access to real employment opportunities, while helping organizations develop the human capital they need to thrive in an evolving economy.

Today, we have expanded to cover the majority of cities in Egypt, offering our youth the benefits of more than 200 global and local partnerships, which has helped us secure a 90% employment rate for our 10,000+ graduates.

Our Story

NASS Academy’s story is rooted in the legacy of one of Egypt’s industrial giants. Our launch in 2012 was announced during Samcrete Holding’s 50th anniversary celebration.

For decades, Samcrete Holding has been a pioneer in engineering, infrastructure, and industrial development across Egypt and the MEA region. Building such legacy came with a deep understanding of how industries grow and, more importantly, what holds them back.

That’s why NASS Academy was born: to bridge the gap between what the local market needs to remain globally competitive and what technical students are learning.

It is no coincidence that the abbreviation for the academy’s name is NASS, which means people in Arabic. We needed to invest in the most essential resource of all, Egyptians. More importantly, we needed to do that through an industry-led, globally benchmarked, and inclusive approach.

From 2012 to 2018, our training programs were divided into two types. The first was focused on qualification for employment programs, with a duration of about a month. The second was directed at graduates of vocational schools and anyone with a technical profession. This includes technicians, electricians, plumbers, and others, who were interested in improving their skills.

In 2018, the ministery of education ushered in a new direction for the country’s national vocational schools. The new education scheme was based on public-private partnerships, offering students internationally-accredited education.

NASS Academy acted as one of the ministry’s consultants on the matter, helping shape the final project plan and acting as one of the key academic partners in the scheme.

Today, NASS manages a growing network of 37 Applied Technology Schools and Vocational Training Centers in partnership with government institutions and major private-sector leaders.
